Cheddar Bread


This tempting bread can be served as a snack or a side. It’s made from delicious cheddar cheese.


  • 1 cup of flour.
  • 75 g (2.6 oz) of sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1/2 cup of milk.
  • 3 tablespoons of Nutrioli® oil.
  • 175 g (6.2 oz) of grated cheddar cheese.

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Sift the flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl. Next, beat with a balloon whisk, adding the sugar, salt, and egg. Lastly, incorporate the milk and Nutrioli® oil little by little.
  3. Mix the ingredients several times without beating too much.
  4. Pour the cheese in and fill a greased loaf pan (or various loaf pans) to 3/4 capacity.
  5. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 18 to 20 minutes. Once ready, take out of the oven, let cool, and place on a rack.
