Benefits of fiber, omega 9, and antioxidants
Granola bars are an excellent source of fiber, containing carbohydrates that the body cannot digest. This nutrient promotes regular bowel movements and helps to prevent constipation.
In addition, granola bars are high in Omega-9, a fatty acid found in foods such as olive oil, avocados, and nuts. Omega-9 has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.
Lastly, granola bars are rich in antioxidants, which protect the body against damage caused by free radicals. These compounds are vital in reducing the risk of developing chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease.
Incorporate granola bars into your diet for a delicious and nutritious snack that will benefi your overall health and well-being.

INGREDIENTS
-
Prepare the nuts and cut them. Cut them with a knife or put them inside a sturdy plastic bag and crumble them by crushing them with any utensil.
-
Add a little sunflower oil to a frying pan and heat it over medium heat. Oats, chopped almonds, shredded coconut, and pumpkin seeds should be added to the hot oil and stirred with a wooden spoon soon after.
-
Prepare figs and grapes. Chop the figs, then add the ingredients and mix everything. If the raisins are small enough, we can leave them whole and add them to our homemade granola bars.
-
Prepare the molasses for the bars. Unsalted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla essence are heated in a saucepan over medium heat. With the help of a wooden spoon, combine all the ingredients and stir until it has a uniform brown color and no lumps.
-
Add a pinch of salt and combine everything by adding the molasses and stirring with a wooden spoon until everything is well combined.
-
Shape the bars: Pour the ingredients into a bowl or similar container, cover it with cling film, and press down to compact the dough as much as possible. Put the mixture in the refrigerator and rest for 25 to 30 minutes.
-
Put the granola bars on a cutting board once you remove them from the refrigerator. Before cutting the dough into “strips” for the granola bars, make sure it is firm.
-
Once cut, individually wrap our homemade granola bars in plastic, paper towels, or any baking-safe wrapping material.
