Cactus is highly nutritious, as it’s rich in vitamins A, B, C and K, as well as minerals like calcium, potassium and phosphorus. It’s also high in fiber, which helps regulate cholesterol and lower blood sugar.
- Heat one tablespoon of Nutrioli® in a skillet and sauté onion until translucent. Add wormseed and cottage cheese, season with salt, and cook just long enough to warm through. Remove mixture from skillet and heat ham in the same oil.
- Pour remaining Nutrioli® on a hot plate and grill cactus until it changes color. Season with salt and dried oregano.
- Put two pieces of cactus on each plate with warm cottage cheese and ham on top. Serve immediately with sliced pineapple.
