Fruit Tart


Aside from being delicious, fruits provide vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. They also give this pie a fun touch. We recommend you use fruits like kiwis, strawberries, and grapes, which are rich in vitamin C.


For the dough:

  • 2 1/8 cups of flour.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cream of tartar.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.
  • 1/2 cup of sugar.
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
  • 1/2 cup of butter.
  • 1/2 cup of Nutrioli® oil.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.

For the filling:

  • 190 g (6.70 oz) of cream cheese.
  • 1/2 cup of sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
  • Fruits of different colors.

  1. Sift the dry ingredients (flour, cream of tartar, and baking powder) into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix the sugar and powdered sugar in a different bowl and add the butter, Nutrioli® oil, egg, and vanilla. Beat well and add the dry ingredients, using your hands to obtain a dough. Refrigerate for 2 hours wrapped in a plastic bag.
  3. Once 2 hours have passed, stretch the dough out on the work table with a bit of flour so that it doesn’t stick. Line a tart or pie pan and bake at 180°C (356°F) for 20 minutes or until golden at the edges. Let cool and remove from the pan.
  4. Meanwhile, mix the sugar with the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and add the vanilla. Mix only until creamy and refrigerate until use.
  5. Once cold, spread the cheese on the tart, slice the fruits, and decorate as desired.
