Potatoes Marinated in Beer


In addition to being a good source of energy, potatoes help soothe the digestive system. Share this side-dish with your friends!


  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 cups beer (blonde, pale or amber)
  • 4½ oz. turkey ham (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup Nutrioli®
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Wash, peel and cut potatoes in thin slices. Combine in a bowl with beer. Let marinate for 20 minutes. Remove potatoes from beer and drain on paper towels to soak up excess moisture. Cut ham in cubes.
  2. Heat Nutrioli® in a skillet and sauté garlic until light yellow. Add ham, cook for 1 minute and remove from heat.
  3. Fry potatoes in same skillet for 4 minutes over low heat or until lightly browned.
  4. Remove from skillet, drain again on paper towels, salt and pepper and serve hot.
