Soybeans contain high-quality protein, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals with significant benefits for your cardiovascular health. Include them as part of your daily diet.
- 2 cups natural textured soy protein
- ½ cup orange juice
- 2 tsp annatto paste
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- ¼ of an onion
- Chicken bouillon powder
- 4 dried guajillo chilies, seeds removed
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 2 TBSP Nutrioli®
- Boil soy protein for two minutes in a pot of water. Remove from heat, drain and set aside.
- Boil chilies in a pot of water until tender. Remove from water, puree in blender with orange juice, ¼ onion, annatto paste, garlic and white vinegar, and then strain. Sauté minced onion in Nutrioli®, add strained sauce and season with chicken bouillon powder. Add soy protein and cook for ten minutes or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and serve.
Accompany your tacos with diced onion and cilantro, as well as slices of lemon and pineapple.
