Steak with Mushroom Gravy

Besides being delicious, mushrooms are rich in protein, B vitamins, phosphorus, potassium and iron.

Ingredients

  • 8 thin fillet mignon steaks
  • Salt and pepper
  • 14 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 TBSP flour
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • ½ cup low-fat beef stock
  • 2 TBSP Nutrioli®

Directions

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Heat grill and oil with half of the Nutrioli®. Grill steaks until reaching desired doneness.
    For sauce:
  2. Heat remaining Nutrioli® in a skillet and sauté mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Once golden-brown, sprinkle with flour and continue cooking. Add beef stock little by little and cook until gravy thickens slightly. Pour gravy over steaks before serving.
