Besides being delicious, shrimp contains essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and is an excellent source of minerals, including iodine, calcium and phosphorus.
- Peel shrimp, leaving tails on, and butterfly cut. Rinse and drain. Season with salt and pepper and dredge in flour. Immerse in egg and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat Nutrioli® and fry shrimp until golden-brown. Remove from skillet and immediately place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into skillet and cook over low heat until sauce thickens slightly. Serve shrimp with sauce.
