Tomato and Cheese Panini

Tuna is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help reduce cholesterol levels, as well as DHA, a fatty acid that’s essential for proper brain development and function.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 small bunch of fresh basil (chopped)
  • 9 oz. mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 can of tuna in water (drained)
  • 7 oz. Canadian bacon slices
  • 2 TBSP Nutrioli®
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cut baguette into slices and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until bread is golden-brown and crisp.
  2. In a bowl, combine cheese with basil and tomatoes and drizzle with Nutrioli®. Season with salt and pepper. Divide mixture among pieces of toast, adding tuna to some and Canadian bacon to others.
