Whole-Grain Pasta with Garlic and Edamame

Whole-grain pasta is rich in fiber, giving you a sensation of fullness. Also, thanks to the antioxidants, unsaturated fat and minerals it contains, it promotes cardiovascular health.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz. whole-grain spaghetti
  • ¼ of an onion
  • 2 cloves garlic (sliced thin)
  • 1 cup edamame (cooked and shelled)
  • 2 TBSP Nutrioli®
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ¾ cup parmesan cheese (grated)

Directions

  1. Cook pasta with onion in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat Nutrioli® in a skillet and sauté garlic until golden-brown. Add pasta and edamame. Season with oregano, salt and pepper. Stir well and cook until warmed through. Serve with grated parmesan cheese.
